Days Inn by Wyndham Wytheville

A last minute booking on a road trip from Arkansas to Maryland. Checking in and out was a breeze. Room was great! Very clean and very comfortable! Great value for the price. Checked in around midnight, and felt safe getting into my room. No one hanging around the property. I'll definitely add this to my list of places to stay again!

Very nice, and clean rooms. Pet friendly, yet for my mini Snauzer, $25 was a touch on the high side. $15 would be more reasonable. But all in all, the total price was good for the night. Restaurants (non chain) in walking distance made it nicer.

For an older motel it is renovated, you get 5 stars Conveniently off the highway and up a hill, room is spacious and clean. Great stay and easy check in on your road trip.

Nice desk clerk & very nice comfortable room. Only complaint was a supper club above there that had very loud music but it ended by 11.00 so wasn't bad. Would stay there again..

I made the reservation about a hour before I got there. I had a little dog. They got us room bottom floor. My remote didn't work. Took it upto office. They fixed it immediately. Would stay there again.

Good bang for your buck with this place. We needed a cheap place to stay on a road trip, but had originally ruled out motels altogether. We were glad we found this place and experienced its clean and comfortable rooms. The service and breakfast left something to be desired, but otherwise would stay again. Convenient location right off the interstate.

I spent the night in one of their rooms back in September and was pleased, so when I needed to stop near here again I'm October, it was an easy choice. Great location, clean rooms, soft bed . I didn't like the fact that back in September, there was no deposit. However this time around, the guy says a $100 deposit was required. I stated that I stayed here back in September and there was no deposit required. However he said that it was the standard procedure. Being that I only had cash, I had to give him a $100 bill. I told him I would be checking out at 4:00 a.m. to continue on my trip. He assured me someone would be there at that hour to refund the deposit. At 4:00 a.m. there was no one there. You ring a bell, and you wait. It took a few minutes but someone did appear and refund the deposit. Set me back a few minutes, but no big deal. It's just part of the standard deposit procedure, right? The next night, on my way back down the highway I stopped here again for the night. There was a different person at the desk and the check-in was smooth and did not require a deposit. So two out of the three times I stayed here, there was no deposit. I guess the "standard deposit procedure" depends on who's at the counter and how you look to them. Other than that, rooms are great. They do offer breakfast, but as a trucker, I'm always gone before 6am so idk what they offer. *Edit* I could have used a debit card for the deposit and skipped having to go back by the front desk at 4am for refund, but I didn't want to wait up to a week to get my money back

Good hotel for getting off/on I-81. Nothing super fancy but room was clean and seemed to have new flooring and bedding. Breakfast was the basics but totally adequate. They are pet friendly as well. Tasty restaurant right next door.
